During our summer stay on the farm in Delhi, she always took me and my sister Cheryl to vacation bible school at the Baptist church in Delhi, Oklahoma. I cherish the memories of her nuturing ways and loving personality. She could cook the best meals. I never forgot the "hobo dinners" as she called them. A half pound coffee can, with a lid, stuffed with a potaote, carrot, hamburger and onion, cooked in the oven. She played dominos and card games with us and my cousins. She read us books, and played the piano and tough us church songs. May God bless her and keep her.
